This policy explains how learn.rainbowdiversityinstitute.ca (the "Site"), owned and operated by Rainbow Diversity Institute ("RDI", "We", "Us", "Our"), uses cookies and similar technologies. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your computer or device when you visit a website. 2. How we use cookies

Strictly necessary cookies. The Site runs on the LearnWorlds e-learning platform, which sets cookies that are required for the Site to work: signing learners in, keeping sessions secure, and remembering essential settings. The Site cannot function properly without these cookies.

Functionality cookies. These remember choices you make, such as display and player preferences, so you do not have to set them again on each visit.

Analytics cookies. The LearnWorlds platform uses its built-in analytics, supported by Mixpanel, to understand how the Site is used in aggregate, for example which pages are visited and how courses are progressed through. We use this information to improve the Site and our courses.

We do not use advertising or ad-tracking cookies on the Site.

3. Your choices

Most browsers accept cookies automatically, but you can set your browser to refuse some or all cookies, or to alert you when a cookie is being set. Instructions are available in your browser's help section. If you disable strictly necessary cookies, parts of the Site, including learner sign-in, will not work.

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if the platform's cookies change. The version posted on the Site, with its "Last updated" date, is the current policy.
